PromptOps Manager
PromptOps Manager is a desktop app that runs AI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and nine more — in real terminals, side by side, on your project folders. Around the CLIs you already use it adds sessions, sub-agents, a prompt library and git tools.
What is PromptOps Manager?
AI coding agents are command-line programs. PromptOps Manager gives each one a session: a terminal that runs the provider's CLI inside a project folder, with its own name and provider. You can keep several sessions open at once, start sub-agents that work in parallel on a task you describe, and switch a session to another provider when the one you picked is not available.
PromptOps does not replace the official CLIs and does not sell model access. It starts the CLI installed on your machine, under the account you signed in with in that CLI. What you type into an agent goes to that agent's vendor, exactly as it would from a plain terminal.
These docs call the product PromptOps Manager. The desktop app you install is named PromptOps Desktop: that is the name you see in the installer and in your applications folder.

- Two interface styles. Minimal is the default, Classic is the alternative. Switch at any time with the UI button in the bottom bar. See Customization.
- 15 interface languages: English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and Arabic. The language button in the bottom bar shows the current language code.
- Guest mode. Try PromptOps — no account needed on the sign-in screen opens the app with a temporary account and no personal data. See Installation.
- Phone access (desktop app only). Mobile in the bottom bar — in the Classic UI the same control is in the top bar — shows a QR code to pair a phone. The phone is read-only by default; choose Read & write only for a device you trust.
- Updates from inside the app. You check, download and restart when you decide. See Installation.
While a phone is paired, the terminal output of the sessions you open on it travels through the PromptOps relay server. Strings that look like credentials (API keys, tokens, passwords, private keys) are masked on a best-effort basis before they leave your computer; do not rely on it for secrets.
