Simon Willison has developed a new tool called CORS Chat, which is designed to help test Qwen 3.8 27B running in LM Studio on different devices. The tool provides a web UI for exercising OpenAI-Responses-compatible chat endpoints and has been tested with LM Studio and OpenRouter. One of the notable features of CORS Chat is its ability to progressively render SVG images in the chat while tokens are still streaming in. Conversations are persisted in the browser and can be exported as copy-pasted JSON. According to the developer, CORS Chat was built using GPT-5.6-Sol xhigh and is available for use.
