The pricing adjustments are positioned as a direct answer to client concerns about the expense of running complex AI agents, as well as the perceived over‑reach of existing safeguards.
Anthropic highlighted that the new models maintain the same level of data‑privacy protections, aiming to balance cost efficiency with responsible AI usage.
